The Safer Cities Campaign was launched in Delhi on the International Day of the Girl Child in collaboration with CASP Plan India, targeting settlement colonies and JJ clusters across all nine districts. A dedicated coordinator, presentation team, and campaign van engaged communities in public spaces, distributing pamphlets, briefing citizens, and collecting data on unsafe areas.
The initiative reached approximately 22,000 stakeholders, mostly women and girls. Campaign activities included 8,500 direct presentations, 4,685 endorsements, and 420 formal pledges to support women and girls in distress. The program successfully raised awareness, mobilized communities, and strengthened local support networks for safer urban spaces.
